Agave Weekly Update #7
Lots of great feedback this week and lots of exciting things being built right now. Here are some things I found interesting this week:
By 2022, iPhones will work on the moon. Nokia will build a 4G cellular network on the moon for future astronauts to do voice and video calls.
Someone hacked McDonalds to find out which ice cream machines are down right now. Someone had to do it.
Elon Musk hosts battery day, an event for shareholders. The event was setup like a drive-in movie theater. Instead of clapping, we heard honks.

Users can now select a different camera for video conversations
The desktop app will now start on system startup
Display a progress bar while the app is loading with a fun and randomized loading message
The conference room is now an "always-on" zone for conversations, meaning anyone in the room stays connected on the video call

Prop sprites are now preloaded like all other sprites

Fixed an issue that prevented screen sharing from working in Chrome
Fixed a bug with rendering avatars for users on older versions of the desktop app
Fixed an issue with chimes for new visitors
🧹 Cleanup
Removed the "office is closed" message
